Clothing has always been magical to me✨
It’s the equalizer, what spoke for me when nothing else could, changed and molded my sense of self, gave me powers I could scarcely imagine with words alone.
But more than that, fashion is also a source of fun, beauty and creativity; an exalting of the self, knowing the self, changing the self with a simple action we already do every day.
I also love to show how practice astrology is— we live it all the time, though we may not realize it. We may not have the words but we always feel it.
I believe we can be even more artful and spiritual in all things just by bringing in the stars
But I also know how much struggle can go into getting dressed.
I know we live in a world where fashion is seen as frivolous while we are also expected to constantly turn over our wardrobe in alignment with each and every micro trend that takes over our feed.
We live in a world that tells us only certain kinds of bodies can be beautiful and that certain looks are off limits to us because they show too much skin, take in too much attention, are too different from the current trends.
In other words, we get endless messages telling us our true selves are too much.
(Never mind the fact that getting dressed everyday is already stressful enough! Why go out if nothing even feels right?)
As a long time lover of style, I knew how magical and affirming my clothes can be. I knew that there were as many Chloe's as there were outfits to wear, and, if I knew myself well enough, then all of the differing aesthetics can still feel like me.
Over the past two years, I developed a new language of style using the planets. Though I drew on traditional texts and correspondences, I knew was creating something wholly new:
